Beginner

I have never skied before.

1st Degree

I have done a minimum of 1 week skiing. I can do snowplough turns.
I am going to learn gliding snowplough down the hill. Traversing. Basic turn. Rounded sideslip. Uphill step turns.

2nd Degree

I've done a minimum of 2 or 3 weeks skiing. I can do snowplough turns on green slopes.

3rd Degree

More than 4 weeks experience. Basic parallel turns on red slopes.
